🙋♀️ Meet Your Guide — Kotryna
Hi, I’m Kotryna — yoga & meditation teacher, well-being educator, and founder of SAMA U Yoga.
For years, I was the one who took care of everyone else first. A mum of two, working in corporate leadership roles, always busy — even though I seemed calm and grounded on the outside, I wasn’t actually taking care of myself.
Like many women, I believed self-care needed to be a one-hour yoga class or a longer break, a perfect ritual of some kind, complicated, out of reach in my daily life. And because I didn’t have that much time… I did nothing.
Everything changed when I began studying the science of yoga, breathwork, and meditation, became a certified yoga teacher, and learned how small daily practices could completely shift how you feel, your mood and the state you are in.
This is why I designed the 24-Day Self-Care Advent Calendar: to give you accessible, realistic tools that support you — even on your busiest days.
My experience:

Ruta will join the 24 Day Self-Care Advent Calendar initiative and share some essential nutritional advices for this holiday season.
Ruta's mission as Functional Nutrition Coach is to promote holistic nutrition and empower individuals to take control of their health through identifying the root causes of imbalances and applying personalized, holistic nutrition strategies to address them.
She's accompanying people at her private practice in Châtel-St-Denis (Switzerland, VD), online, or at a location of their choice.

Ruta is qualified brain based coach (Neuroleadership Institute) and mountain leader ( Association of Mountain Guides, Switzerland).
She is a founder of Be Outside Coaching and leads coaching and retreat initiatives in Swizerland and Lithuania.

As a certified resilience coach, she supports women in building self-trust, breaking free from limiting beliefs, and effectively managing stress.
She is co-founder at She/Crea, a self growth visual platform designed by women for women for self discovery and life design. She/Crea will offer accessible journeys, experiences, and visual tools that support women in gaining clarity, uncovering their authentic self, pursuing their goals, and designing a life true to them.

Nicola will join the 24 Day Self-Care Advent Calendar initiative and share her passions in a mini breath and movement session.
Nicola is a breathwork facilitator. It has helped her navigate grief and trying to thrive through motherhood. She is also a Movement is Medicine Instructor which has brought so much joy to her life. It has connected her to music and her body in a way like never before. Both modalities help her to regulate her nervous system & support her through the challenges of daily life & motherhood. She is extremely passionate about sharing this knowledge & these practices.

Do I need any special equipment?
Just comfy clothes. A mat helps but isn’t required. Many practices (like breathwork) do not require anything but you.
